Live from Peoria, Illinois it’s Saturday Night Cheeseburger starring this week’s host, Suite Fire Bar + Grille and featuring special guest stars, Amber, Joe, Kay and Chef Seth.

And now, please welcome this week’s host, Suite Fire Bar + Grille!

Here we are at the Holiday Inn on Orange Prairie Road and it’s also the hom of Suite Fire Bar + Grille, which is somewhat of a hidden gem here in Peoria.

Let’s go inside and start this week’s Saturday night out on the town!

The restaurant is located right off of the lobby and today happens to be National Peanut Butter Day! Happy Peanut Butter Day to all of you who celebrate this nutty holiday!

As I entered into the cozy dining room, I think I see a couple of familiar people in this booth over here…

It’s my friends and frequent guest stars on the blog, Amber and Joe!

Always wonderful to see them and they’re looking fabulous as always! Now we can let this Saturday night really begin!

Kay was our pretty and friendly server and she brought us drinks and took our Saturday night dinner order.

And now it’s that time of the evening for me to abandon Amber and Joe to take some random photos in here. Hey, this is what I do!

They have a really nice bar in here that’s located opposite the dining area in the same room.

Here’s the beers on tap at the bar.

There’s a nice communal table in the back with a screen highlighting the rotating draft beer list.

Meanwhile, back at our booth…

Our Saturday night dinner has started to arrive.

We started off with an appetizer order of their Suite Bites which are hand-breaded chicken bites that are served with your choice of five different sauces.

We went with the Sweet Chili sauce and they were a tasty start to our Saturday night dinner!

And now, the main courses have arrived!

Amber got into the spirit of National Peanut Butter Day and got the PB Burger, Joe got a BBQ Swiss and Bacon Sandwich and I got a bacon cheeseburger.

Everything looks absolutely delicious!

There’s Amber and Joe digging into their dinners.

They said everything was tasty and wonderfully prepared.

I added a nice dollop of mustard to my bacon cheeseburger and placed the toasted bun on top to take an inaugural bite.

Wow, this is one tasty cheeseburger!

It was seasoned perfectly and topped with rich melted cheddar cheese and strips of smokey, candied bacon. The bacon added a nice savory and sweet element to the burger and it was fabulous!

After dinner, Executive Chef Seth stopped by our table and we had a nice chat with him. He told us there’s a new menu happening here in April, so we’re anxious to stop by and try it out!

This was a fantastic bacon cheeseburger and I highly recommend it and if you’ve never dined at Suite Fire Bar + Grille you should definitely check it out!
