We’re up to our fifth week of sampling appetizers in restaurants around Peoria and this week we’re going to sample some pre-dinner goodies at Weaver’s Fresh Food and Drink.

And we’re meeting a special guest star this week, so let’s get going over to Weaver’s and start week number five of our appetizer tour!

Here we are at Weaver’s which is located just off of Willow Knolls Drive. Let’s go in and begin week number five of the MBIP Appetizer Tour!

The special guest star of the day sent me a text that she’s already been seated in a booth, so I skipped waiting to be seated and I think I see her over here in the side dining area…

Here’s our special Appetizer Guest Star, my friend, Nancy, who’s appeared on the blog many times before!

Always great to see her smiling face and let’s get settled in and check out the appetizers in here!

As you can see, they have a nice selection of appetizers on the menu and there’s our pretty and friendly waitress, Elizabeth who took our order and flashed the MBIP card for her photo!

There’s a shot of the other side of the front dining room and I love the faux fireplace in here!

There’s a nice and spacious bar up in the front of the main dining room.

Here’s the other side of the bar and as you can see, there’s a large selection of beers on tap to choose from!

There’s a listing of the aforementioned beers on tap and a nice piece of Bill’s Lemonade art on the wall behind the bar.

There’s four large television screens for sports viewing enjoyment up above the bar.

Our appetizers have arrived and they look spectacular!

From the top: Crab Stuffed Mushrooms, Cheddar Cheese Balls and Chicken Cheese Fries! Time to dig in and try these wonderful looking appetizers out!

There’s Nancy enjoying our appetizer order and she raved on about how tasty everything was!

These were a trio of fantastic appetizers!

The Cheddar Cheeseballs were crispy outside and seasoned with a sweet heat seasoning and they were filled with rich and creamy cheddar cheese, the Chicken Cheese Fries were hand-cut fries topped with the Weaver’s homemade chicken fingers, jack cheese sauce along with Tyler’s sauce, scallions and more of the sweet heat seasoning and the third appetizer was the classic Crab Stuffed Mushrooms which were stuffed with tasty crab meat and a rich cheese blend.

These were fantastic and delicious appetizers!

Appetzer Rating

All three appetizers were fantastic, but I decided to choose the Crab Stuffed Mushrooms for the rating.

Crab Stuffed Mushrooms are a classic appetizer and these were probably the best I’ve ever had! The mushrooms were cooked perfectly and the crabmeat and rich melted cheese were a tasty delight! This and the other appetizers are highly recommended!
