There’s a new bar that's opened in downtown Peoria called Kickback on Fulton and they’re having a grand opening this Saturday night. But I thought we’d stop in for a pre-grand opening beer or two and take a look at Peoria’s newest watering hole. Let’s get in the MBIP Mobile and make tracks to Kickback on Fulton!
See that white stuff on the windshield of the MBIP Moblie? That's called frost, the first time I've had to scrape my window so far this year and it's an excuse to hammer one point home that I don't know if I made clear last year: I fucking hate winter! Alright, I feel better now and it's onwards we go.
Okay, we've parked and Kickback on Fulton is right down the street here.
Here we are, the logo is displayed on these windows along with some blazing neon signage.
Here's the entrance on the corner, let's go in and see what's happening at Kickback on Fulton.

The bar! Let's snag a seat and get a beer.
Bartender Stacy looked familiar and then I realized we had met her back when we came here for a Saturday Night Cheeseburger episode back when this place was The Black Rabbit. The bar may change hands, but Stacy remains the same and that's a good thing! Great to see her again!
This is my view of the back of the well-stocked bar. As you can see, there's a nice selection of bottled beers in the coolers below the lit-up bottles on display.
They have half a dozen taps to choose from and here's three of them...
And here's the other three. Check it out, there's Moody Cow in the center which is brewed and distributed by our pals over The Peoria Brewing Company. Very cool!
Nightly specials are displayed on this board at the end of the bar.
A festive red bow hangs over the bar reminding all of us that this is a festive time of year.
There's a comfortable lounge area over here in this corner.
This table looks out on to Fulton Street.
There's more tables over here on the opposite side of the bar.
A state of the art dart board stands at attention at the end of this hallway.
There's another room over there up in front, let's go check that out.
They've got a flat screen jukebox in here. I really hate these fucking things and long for the days of the big old clunky jukeboxes of days gone by. These things look like smart phones with a thyroid condition and don't get me started on smart phones! Okay, let's just take a breath and just keep moving along. Sheesh!
This room is really nice up here. There's a brand new pool table and art on the walls.
The art is all military themed.
