Dragnet was originally a radio series that ran from 1949 to 1957. Then in 1951 it became a TV show that ran until 1959. It was revived in 1967 in living color and ran until 1969. The one common thread through this is Jack Webb. He created and produced every Dragnet radio and TV show. I grew up watching the 1967 series and I loved it!
Jack Webb as Joe Friday was a classic TV character. So below are seven links to online articles and videos about Joe Friday and Dragnet. And don’t worry, it’s just the facts.
