Last week we delivered MBIP buckets to Moxie’s ReSale Boutique and Emack and Bolio’s and this week we’re headed off to deliver buckets to All Smiles Dental Care and Acme Comics and Collectibles. If you missed last week’s post, the purpose behind this is to drop off buckets to these wonderful businesses on the MBIP Bucket List and have them decorate them and put them in a prestigious place in their business. We’ll be checking back on the buckets in a few weeks after we’ve delivered them all and see how they look after they’ve been decorated in their own unique style by each business. And so, it’s onwards we go to today’s Bucket List places of business!
Here's the first stop for today's bucket deliveries, All Smiles Dental Care. A rare dental office that actually is a fun place to stop in at and hang out.
A quick glance to the side of the building shows that they are certainly living up to being on a bucket list!
Obligatory foyer mirror shot!
There's All Smile's friendly and pretty receptionist, Danielle at the front desk. I looked at her hands while she was typing and discovered that...
She's got Cheap Trick fingernails! How cool is that?
Free candy on the counter alert!
Time for another edition of ASDC Versus MBIP Dueling Business Cards! I think I count three ASDC cards there...
But they're no match for the leaning tower of MBIP business cards on display at the counter! Better luck next time ASDC!
Speaking of ASDC, here's the entire staff with the MBIP Bucket in the dental chair. From left, Hayley, Dr. Nguyen, Peggy, Shaun, Amber and Danielle.
I'll be anxious to see what they do to their bucket, we'll find out in a few weeks! Speaking of a few weeks, I'll be back here soon to get a couple of cavities filled, so stay tuned for that adventure!
Here we are at the next Bucket LIst Business, Acme Comics and Collectibles. It's always fun to stop in here and take a look around.
11-6 are the Acme Hours and we're in that time frame so let's step inside.
There's an overload of fun things to look at in here, but my favorite spot to take a gander is...
On the high shelves just below the ceiling. Most of the stuff displayed up here is vintage games and books. Check out the Yogi Bear Ball Toss and the Martian Magic Tricks!
That Mad game is a classic item!
I've taken a picture of this Captain Jinks and Salty Sam drawing at the front counter, but I've never asked who drew it. I'll have to find that out when we come back to look at Acme's decorated bucket.
There's a familiar face over there behind the counter...
It's MBIP Contributor, pal and owner of Acme, Bob Gordon, with his MBIP Bucket proudly in hand!
Here's the new comics of the week being sorted out on this table.
One service Acme has is that you can have your own section and they'll put the items you request in them for you. Pretty cool!
Here's some of the people that have reserved sections here at Acme...
And here's some more. I don't know why, but I enjoy looking at the different names. Yes, I'm easily amused.
Love this Acme Pale Ale sign!
They've done a good job of decorating this laptop computer, I'm anxious to see what they do with the MBIP Bucket!
Glow in the dark eyeballs...that can only lead to one thing...
A Marty Feldman impersonation!
Not to be outdone, here's Bob with his impersonation of Buckethead from Guns 'N Roses! We'll see you all tomorrow!

Bonus Bucket From Jaws the Cabbie!
Jaws the Cabbie sent in a Captain Jinks embossed bucket to accompany this week’s Bucket Tour post! Very cool! Thanks, Jaws! And don’t forget to check out Jaws’ collection of MBIP stories in book form. I just got my copy today and it’s really a great book, Jaws did a great job writing and designing it. Check it out here! And it's also available as an ebook!
