Time for the weekly Sunday Snapshot. Earlier in the week, I stopped in at Urban Artifacts to do a post on the new line of retro Peoria t-shirts from Bygone Brand. After I left there, I popped around the corner and ran into one of my favorite stores on Main Street and one that’s been there the longest, The Costume Trunk and saw our old buddy, Steve Spain. I asked Steve to put on a mask to get in the spirit of things, snapped this photo and then I asked him some Sunday questions.
What’s your favorite place to go for Sunday dinner in Peoria?
Right now, I’d say Blue Duck BBQ or Po-Boys.
What’s your favorite Sunday night TV show, past or present...or both?
From the past, I’d say Walt Disney and of course, The Ed Sullivan Show. From the present, The Amazing Race, although I have to say, lately it hasn’t been so amazing!
What time do you get up on Sunday?
I get up at six in the morning, walk the dog and then go back to bed.
What’s a perfect Sunday afternoon for you?
Having the family over for a cookout.
Thanks Steve, have a great Sunday, everybody and we’ll see you all tomorrow!
