This week our Sunday Snapshot was taken at the Riverfront Museum’s 4th of July BBQ celebration. Greg Batton was broadcasting for WMBD from the party and I snapped these photos of him in action!
Greg was busy doing his radio show from the party and was gracious enough to let me take those photos and he even let me be a guest on the show and I babbled on for a few minutes, but I didn’t get a chance to ask him the four stupid Sunday-related questions we ask every week. So I”m going to answer them myself, how’s that for improvising? Okay, here I go!
What’s your favorite Sunday dinner?
This is easy, The Fish House with my parents and Paul bartending!
Name your favorite Sunday night TV show, past or present...or both?
Past: The Ed Sullivan Show. Present: I don’t have a TV anymore, so I guess it would be obsessively watching reruns of Breaking Bad on my computer...bitch!
What time do you get up on Sunday?
Usually around 9AM because I have to have this Sunday Snapshot post up around 11AM and it takes me a couple of hours to get it all together. It’s a thankless task, but somebody’s got to do it!
What’s a perfect Sunday afternoon for you?
Beer and a chicken wing road trip with Scott Turley, at least that’s this week’s perfect Sunday afternoon and you can read all about that this Tuesday as we continue our 12 week chicken wing tour. Note how I shamelessly promote MBIP within this context, it continues below! I'm such a promoting whore!
Thanks, Marty! And thanks to Greg for letting me snap his photo last night. And you can see more from the Riverfront Museum’s 4th of July party tomorrow on Monday! Tuesday is a chicken wing road trip and then on Wednesday and Thursday we’re going to visit a new bookstore in the Sunbeam building and get a close shave and a beer at a unique barber shop in East Peoria! Check back all week for these daily updates around noon and we’ll see you all tomorrow!
