Last week I explained that we’re on a mission here at MBIP to find out which, if any food at McDonald’s is digestible. If you missed that post, click here to read all about it.
I noted last week that we’re starting off with the breakfast menu and that menu is directly below.
Last week we sampled the McMuffin family and so this week we’re going to try the trio of McDonald’s Breakfast Biscuits.
This week’s weekly McDonald’s report is somewhat of a McFail as far as photos go.
I had to dig this bag out of the garbage for this photo.
What happened was, before I did this, I took the memory card out of my camera to save some photos I had taken from the night before. I left the card in my computer and forgot it was there. Then I went to McDonald’s, got the three biscuits and took the photos without the memory card in the camera.
So none of the pictures I took while eating them were saved.
Here’s the wrappers from the biscuits…
And here’s the biscuits inside of the bag after the first bites. I’ll note the first bites, but we just don’t have photos of them. Oh well, what are you going to do?
The First Bites
Bacon, Egg & Cheese Biscuit: I actually had hope that this breakfast sandwich might be okay, but I was quickly proven wrong after the first bite. The sandwich was literally tasteless. I think the eggs are made from powdered eggs and the bacon and cheese had no taste at all, kind of like my humor. The biscuit itself was horrible. It was dense, salty and greasy. Ugh!
Sausage Biscuit: I noted last week that the sausage here is like the stomach-turning second cousin to the McRib mystery meat. Add the greasy salty biscuit to the mix and you’ve got quite a horrible little breakfast sandwich here.
Sausage Biscuit with Egg: See the above review and add a tasteless powdered egg to the mix. Not a Happy Meal at all!
None of these breakfast biscuit sandwiches are digestible, but at least they’re not vomit-inducing like those McMuffin sandwiches with green egg yolks from last week!
