Repo Man is a film written and directed by Alex Cox that came out in 1984. It’s one of my favorite films of all time and I think it’s the best work of both Emilio Estevez and Harry Dean Stanton, who are the two main characters of the film. Another thing that makes it extremely cool is that the Executive Producer of the film is none other than my favorite Monkee, Michael Nesmith.
Below are six links to online articles about Repo Man and a link to the original trailer.
And below that are the MBIP Coming Attractions as to what’s happening here on the blog next week!

Roger Ebert’s 1984 Review of Repo Man - Roger gave it three stars and a positive review.
The Original Trailer for Repo Man - I remember seeing this trailer and hoping the movie would come to Peoria. It did and I’m happy I got to see it on the big screens here in P-town back in the early ‘80’s!
Here’s what’s happening this week on MBIP!
Monday: It was the 48th anniversary of Sky Harbor Steak House last week and the last week for Shannon Elizabeth Moore to play at their piano bar. I celebrated this bittersweet evening last night and photos will be up tomorrow.
Tuesday: I’m back at the 13 months of chicken tour and I found out that Dairy Queen has a chicken and waffles special, so I somewhat reluctantly went there and tried it out.
Wednesday: The McRib is back! This sandwich has always fascinated me in a weird-ass way, so I decided to do a McDonald’s versus a local restaurant’s rib sandwich duel. Tune in to see who wins!
Thursday: I’m bringing back the Thursday Minute Marty Meals, so check in to see what I cook up this week!
Friday: It’s another Friday Flashback to see what happened on November 10th on my blog posts from the past!
Saturday: The Sandwiches of Peoria will feature a unique sandwich from Tanners Orchard!
Okay, I have to start getting this stuff ready to post, have a beautiful Sunday and we’ll see you all tomorrow!
