This month marks the 35th anniversary of the recording and release of the song, “Do They Know It’s Christmas.” The song created a new category of music: The charitable single and it led to more songs that were recorded to give money to various charitable outlets and some of these songs included: “We Are The World,” “That’s What Friends Are For” and “Hands Across America.”

Monday: It’s Tom and Jerry season at Agatucci’s and I went there last night, met some friends and we all enjoyed the festive drink!
Tuesday: There’s just two weeks left in the MBIP chicken tour and this week I’m naming and returning to the place that served up my favorite fried chicken on the tour. Which place is it? Tune in and find out!
Wednesday: The 26th Xmas Gathering at Chili’s. What started off as a Christmas Eve lunch at Chili’s has turned into a 26 year tradition for me! Let’s see who shows up this year!
Thursday: Speaking of anniversaries, it’s been nine years since I first met my friend Amber on Xmas day at the Last Chance. We’re going to return there along with her husband Joe and her parents, Chuck and Diane!
Friday: The party’s are over as I continue to eat the menu at McDonald’s. This week I’m starting on the burger menu and I’m dreading it already!
Saturday: We’ll spotlight another sandwich in the on-going, Sandwiches of Peoria series.
