Almost two years ago on September 27, 2017, I reported about how an angry Lincoln had invaded Peoria and that he was royally pissed off. If you missed it, you can read about it by clicking right here.
I recently heard a rumor that he and his Perry Como sidekick were going to be taken down and replaced with two other giant-sized people, so I went and paid my last respects on Monday.
There they are, still standing tall behind the Peoria Riverfront Museum. Supposedly they’re going to be taken down tomorrow. We’ll come back then and see what happens. Now I’m going to go home and have a sandwich, some beers and maybe even a couple of vodka drinks. Woo and hoo for me!
Okay, now it’s the next day, time to see what’s going on with the giant Angry Lincoln and Perry Como. Zoom, zoom!
Oh my god! Perry Como has been masked gangsta style and Angry Giant Lincoln has been brutally taken down and tied up. This is some rough-ass stuff and it’s more than a little scary!
As you can see, the scene has been tied off, but I’m going to go in and see if I can get some close-up shots of this breaking news!
There’s a new couple on the block and it appears that they are going to take the place of Angry Lincoln and Perry Como. They look a tad uncomfortable and maybe just a little sick to their stomachs. Sheesh!
There’s only one thing to do at this point in time…
And that’s to go inside of the Peoria Riverfront Museum and get a hot dog from the fabulous concession stand inside.
Emma and David served up the dog with a bottle of unsweetened iced tea. The Peoria Riverfront Museum has some of the nicest people in the world working in here and these two are perfect examples of the ongoing niceness inside of here!
I put some mustard on the hot dog and it was delicious!
As I ventured back outside I ran into familiar faces! There’s Jessica Ball and her daughter, Stacy Peterson and Yours Fooly with Cathie Neumiller from the Museum.
Great to see all of them, now let’s get back to what’s happening here today!
Down below, John Morris who is the CEO and ABC and WXYZ of the Peoria Riverfront Museum is giving a talk. I’m not sure what he talked about because instead of listening, I was thinking about blueberry pancakes and kitty cats frolicking in a sandbox. It’s what I do when John Morris speaks. It’s just the way that it is.
Before you knew it, the speech was over and then things got really weird.
Check it out, the old guy is rising and flying through the air. This is really trippy!
Then it was time for the creepy old woman to rise and fly and take her place in downtown Peoria.
There they are in all their morning glory story looking out at the Peoria Riverfront.
As you can see from their faces and the way her hands are placed on her stomach, they are clearly constipated and uncomfortable. I’m filled with wonder…will they ever find relief?
And what’s the deal with the giant suitcase?
They’re kind of creeping me out and I’m going to go home and hide under my bed. We’ll see you all tomorrow.
