Okay, this week we’re having meatballs and macaroni and cheese for our Thursday Minute Marty Meal. There’s also a cake for one and then somehow we end up with photos of women shaving their faces. I’m not sure how that happened, but let’s get cooking!
The ingredients for this week’s meal are from left: Progresso Parmesan Bread Crumbs, Sugar Birthday Letters, Verde Ground Beef, Cheez Whiz, Kraft Sharp Cheddar Shredded Cheese, Bob Evans White Cheddar Macaroni & Cheese and Schuck’s Eggs.
And as always, the most important ingredient: A Bud Light tallboy, the first of many!
This is everything we need to make the meatball mix, time to put it all together!
The ground beef is Verde organic ground beef and I’ve never had it, so I thought we’d try it out today. Sorry Mr. Eggman, you’re about to get all cracked up!
After the egg I added Texas Pete’s hot sauce, Stubbs BBQ sauce, hot mustard and a shit-ton of pepper.
Then we mix those together and we add red onions, three quarters of the bag of Kraft shredded cheese, a generous shake of the Parmesan bread crumbs and as an afterthought, I decided to add some brown sugar to the mix. If it’s good enough for Mick, its’ good enough for us!
There’s a lot of flavors happening in this mix and now’s the time I dread. I have to form meatballs out of this and I hate touching raw ground beef.
It feels like you’re pulling guts out of a dead body. I was going to get plastic gloves and I forgot to get them. Oh well, here goes…
Well, luckily that went quickly and the meatballs are all formed and ready to go!
I placed them on a baking sheet with olive oil on it and put it in a pre-heated oven set for 400 degrees. We’ll cook these for around twenty minutes.
While those are cooking we’ll heat up the Bob Evans White Cheddar Macaroni and Cheese in the microwave. Most people would eat it like this, but it’s time for the Bob Evans Macaroni to be transformed into Tony Macaroni!
The transformation happens by pouring it into this pan and adding copious amounts of mustard powder, pepper, hot sauce, Cheez-Whiz, the rest of the shredded cheddar cheese and a healthy dollop of the bread crumbs.
Oh Tony Macaroni, you are truly rich, creamy and delicious! The bread crumbs give it a nice and thick consistency.
Right on schedule the Marty Meatballs are done cooking and they look stupendous! Cheese is oozing out of them like pus from a ripe pimple. Mmmmm.
Time to plate up this week’s meal!
The Thursday Minute Marty Meal: Marty Meatballs and Tony Macaroni!
I put corn skewers in the meatballs because eating should be fun, and what’s more fun than that?
The Marty Meatballs are bursting with flavor and rich with the melted cheese. And speaking of cheese, the Tony Macaroni is downright decadent!
Now it’s time for dessert!
For dessert I thought we’d try this Duncan Hines cake for one! You make it in a cup, so I need to find a cup in here…
How perfect is this? It’s the Big Sipper cup that my friends Amber and Joe got me from their trip to Florida last winter!
This is real simple to make, you pour it in the cup, add water and microwave for one minute and presto: Instant cake in a cup for one!
I’m just going to sweeten the cup here…
And add some sugar birthday letters to the mix! This is the best cake in a cup for one I’ve ever had! Okay, it’s the only cake in a cup for one I’ve ever had, but still, it’s pretty good!
And now, I’m proud and happy to bring you this week’s titillating photo montage…
Women Shaving Their Faces!
I was originally looking for photos of women eating meatballs, but ended up collecting photos of women shaving their faces.
How did that happen? If I knew that, I’d be king of the interwebs. Enjoy!
