Saturday Night @ Peoria Irish Fest

by MBIP

Live from Peoria, Illinois it’s Saturday Night starring this week’s host, the Peoria Irish Fest with a ton of special guest stars!

So now, please welcome this week’s host, from Peoria’s riverfront, the Peoria Irish Fest!

Welcome to Peoria’s Irish Fest. It’s just down this way to…

Festival Park on the Peoria Riverfront.

We are now entering Peoria’s slice of Ireland for this Saturday night.

And check it out, we’re special guests of the Peoria Irish Fest!

Thanks to Ally for setting this up, let’s go inside and see what’s happening at this year’s Peoria Irish Fest!

We’ll get some Blarney Bucks and then head on in to the festival!

O’Neill’s Pub

There’s several tents with beer and live music.

This is O’Neill’s Pub with Paddy Woman and The Noble Call entertaining the crowd. As you can see, it’s a packed house here and everyone is loving the music and good times.

Vendors

There’s lots of vendors selling everything from shaved ice, roasted peanuts, barbecue, ice cream, Five Farms Irish cream and corn dogs. Corn dogs may seem like an odd thing to get at a festival where everything is Irish...

But check it out, this is a special Irish corn dog. Too rah loo rah!

W.E. Sullivan’s and Kenny’s Westside Pub Unite The Clans!

I ran into Billy Blasek, owner of W.E. Sullivan’s and he told me that he joined forces with Sean Kenny, owner of Kenny’s Westside Pub to sell traditional corned beef and cabbage and other Irish fare at their Unite the Clans booth. Very cool!

North Stage

Jig Jam was entertaining the crowd here at the North Stage tent.

Smiling Faces

I saw lots of familiar faces in the crowd and thanks to all of them for letting me take your photos! It was fun to see everyone at this festive evening celebrating all things Irish in Peoria!

Cheers to the 2019 Peoria Irish Fest, I’m already looking forward to next years festival of green on the Peoria Riverfront!
