Yesterday was singer/songwriter Amy Winehouse’s birthday.
She would’ve been 36-years-old, but she died in 2011 from alcohol poisoning. I was a big fan of hers and always felt that she was someone who had trouble dealing with fame and maybe she would’ve been better off if her career didn’t take off as suddenly as it did.

Monday: I had my Saturday night dinner at the new Hungry Moose on Sterling. They moved here from their Farmington Road location last April and they now have a full bar and there’s live music on the weekends!
Tuesday: You’ve probably heard all of the hoopla about the new Popeyes chicken sandwich and how they’re sold out of them for now. Well, I got one for this week’s chicken tour, tune in for the details of what this is all about!
Wednesday: Last week was the first Taste of the Heights and it was a huge success! I stopped and sampled the food at every single vendor and got shots of lots of smiling faces at this first food sampling from the Heights.
Thursday and Friday will be Quickety Blickety blogs as I continue to rehearse for the upcoming Marty Monologues show that will be here before you know it!
