Today I’m posting up a photo of myself, my brothers and my sister from days gone by.
I don’t know the exact date of this picture but I’m guessing it’s around 1962. Here it is.
From the left: Tom, Jim, me and Terry.
My jacket looks a little big on me and it looks like I’m doing a David Byrne imitation, even though back then I had no idea who David Byrne was or that I was going to be buying records that his band, The Talking Heads would be recording decades after this picture was taken. I guess my parents figured I would grow into it. I’m guessing eventually I did.
Also, note the smile on my face. This is before I knew that soon I would have to endure over twelve years of school that I never felt comfortable at while hating many of the children who would be my classmates and then toiling through a lifetime of working jobs I really didn’t like too well. Ah, the innocent age!
Oh well, at least I have the day off today, now I have to go rehearse for the upcoming Marty Monologues show. Hey, tickets go on sale next week, and I’ll have details about that soon!
