Okay, it’s been about a month since the last Thursday Minute Marty Meals, but we’re back with a new recipe and weekly meal! Let’s get cooking!
Here’s the ingredients for this week’s Marty Meal, clockwise from left: Fancy Colossal Cashews, Liquid Eggs, Peanut Satay Sauce, Cabot Fiery Jack Habanero Cheddar and Monterey Jack Shredded Cheese, Giorgio Sliced Mushrooms, 816 Hot Chili Pepper BBQ Sauce, Progresso Bread Crumbs, Kikkoman Soy Sauce, Sandwich Pal Sweet and Spicy Mustard, Uncle Ben’s Roasted Chicken Rice, Parmesan and Romano Cheese and Perdue Ground Chicken Breast.
I’ll also be using spices and seasonings already stocked in the MBIP Worlds Headquarters Kitchen.
Of course this meal starts off with the most important ingredient, a Bud Light tallboy! Cheers!
The base of this dish is ground chicken breast and that’s not exactly something that’s bursting with flavor, so we’re going to add a lot of spice and flavor to it. We’ll mix in some of the shredded cheese, the 816 hot BBQ sauce, some minced onions and a nice dollop of the Parmesan and Romano cheese. We’ll get that all mixed in and then it’s time for…
The second wave of seasonings!
Now we’ll add some Sandwich Pal Sweet and Spicy Mustard, a nice dash of black pepper, ground mustard, some Texas Pete Hot Sauce, another shake of the shredded cheese, some bread crumbs and finally about half of the carton of liquid eggs.
Once that’s all stirred and mixed together, we’ll let it chill in the refrigerator for about fifteen minutes and solidify somewhat.
Which gives us enough time to enjoy another can of Bud Light!
Okay, I’ve sprayed a tinfoil covered cooking tray with Pam and now it’s time to make the chicken meatballs.
Note that I’m wearing plastic gloves because the consistency of this uncooked chicken concoction is like touching raw and slimy guts and that’s not something I like to touch!
Okay, I’ve formed nine almost perfect meatballs, put them on the cooking tray and they’ll go into a 400 degree, pre-heated oven for about a half an hour.
While those are cooking, we’ll cook up the rice.
I’ve seasoned the mushrooms with black pepper and ground mustard and then I added the Uncle Ben’s Roasted Chicken Rice which I nuked in the microwave.
I added some soy and peanut satay sauce to give the rice some Asian flavoring.
And now I’m adding something to give the rice a unique kick in the ass, cashews!
I took some cashews, ground them up and then added them to the rice. This will give the rice a nutty and crunchy consistency and a unique flavor.
I sampled it and it tastes great! Time to check on the chicken meatballs.
I decided to add another flavor level to the chicken meatballs by topping them off with more of the BBQ sauce and the rest of the shredded cheese and putting them under the broiler for a few minutes.
Here they are in all of their cheesy and BBQ glory, time to plate up this week’s Marty Meal!
The rice is really tasty. The soy sauce and peanut satay sauce give it a nice Asian flavor and the cashews add a nutty crunch and flavor!
The BBQ Chicken Meatballs are literally bursting with flavor from all of the seasonings and cheese! The BBQ sauce gives it a bold and savory flavor and that’s balanced out with the richness delivered by the cheese. A delicious Thursday Minute Marty Meal!
And now for this week’s titillating photo montage: Women With Cigarettes!
Smoke ‘em if you got ‘em! We’ll see you all tomorrow!
