Okay, last week I overslept and didn’t have time to put up my weekly taco trip. Instead I posted a picture of the tacos and I had a contest on facecrack to see who could guess where I got them from.
We had a lot of guesses and a few people correctly guessed that I purchased last week’s tacos at Perico’s Fast Tacos. Here’s the facecrack post:
As I said, several people guessed Perico’s Fast Tacos, but the first person to guess was…
Winner, Winner, Taco Dinner!
Regina Crowe!
Congratulations, Regina, you were the first one to post the correct answer and you win a 25 dollar gift certificate to Perico’s Fast Tacos!
Please send me an email or DM me on facecrack and we’ll figure out how to get the gift certificate to you!
People really do win here on MBIP!
Okay, now let’s go get some tacos at Perico’s Fast Tacos!
I’ve probably driven by here a thousand times on my way to work and I never noticed this place until someone recommended it after I started this taco series.
Let’s go in and check it out!
Right now there’s no indoor dining, it’s take-out only and you order up there at the counter.
As you can see, they have a large selection of tacos…
Adela and Adrian took my order and started preparing this week’s taco lunch!
While they work, we’ll take a few photos in here.
Someone else came in and is placing an order at the counter.
There’s a cooler with bottled soft drinks to the right of the front counter and there’s also Mexican fountain drinks you can order.
I love the Mexican-styled art in here!
Meanwhile, back at the front counter…
Adela hands off this week’s taco meal!
And before you know it…
We’re back at MBIP World Headquarters Kitchen and Tasting Area.
Check it out, they supplied two styles of homemade sauces, a green and a red sauce. Very nice!
I got a lovely trio of tacos and these are genuine Mexican street tacos. They look and smell absolutely delicious!
I seasoned the tacos with the two hot sauces and some lime juice.
Okay, time to sample this week’s tacos.
A Trio Of Tacos!
The steak taco was so tasty. It had juicy bites of steak along with the cilantro and onion chunks, a delicious start to this trio of tacos lunch!
The seasoned pork taco did not disappoint either, they certainly know how to build pleasing tacos at Perico’s Fast Tacos!
The chicken taco was a delightful closer to this trio of tacos! This was my first time to Perico’s Fast Tacos, but it won’t be my last!
These were very tasty and satisfying tacos!
