Monday: I went to a somewhat new pub last night, The Mad Hatters Pub on Farmington Road. This is a legendary spot that was once the home of Sy Maroon’s Hitching Post and then Rocky’s Hitching Post. I had a great meal and there was live music too, tune in tomorrow to see the newest addition of this classic Peoria bar locale.
Tuesday: I went to Emily’s Tattoo Tamale’s to pick up some tamales for the seventh week of the MBIP Mexican food tour. I took them to a sweet spot to eat them and tune in on Tuesday to see the tamales and where I chose to eat them at!
Wednesday: If you want to shop local and support this community, there’s no better place to do it than shopping at Peoria Made on Main Street. I’ll feature a tour of the store and they’re also selling my book, so be sure to check this out!
Thursday: I’ll be trying to make a better burger than last week on the Thursday Minute Marty Meals. I’ve got a new skillet and a burger masher, so tune in and see how this week’s smashburger turns out!
Friday: We’ll continue eating the McDonald’s menu and this week we’re up to the Filet O’ Fish sandwich which has me somewhat scared!
