This week’s Marty Monologues is about a flight I took from New York to Chicago in 1997 and seated next to me was a musician that I respected and had admired for years.
And I didn’t recognize him till the end of the flight and then was embarrassed about how I had spent the end of the flight talking about myself and my magazine fishwrap and didn’t acknowledge him at all
