Live, from Peoria, Illinois, it’s Saturday Night Take-Out, starring this week’s host, Nick-N-Willy’s Pizza and featuring special guest star, Samantha!
Now please welcome, all the way from the back of the Metro Centre, Nick-N-Willy’s Pizza!
Okay, we’re approaching the Metro Centre and Nick-N-Willy’s is located all the way in the back. Whoomp, there it is!
I love the neon pizza sign and they are open, so let’s go inside!
I walked in and Samantha was behind the counter flashing a very cute smile. She told me she’s worked here since she was in high school and she just graduated from college with a degree in psychology. Hmmm, I may have to talk to her further on down the road!
I ordered a special pizza they have here and there she goes making the pie. What is this mysterious pizza I ordered?
Well that would be The Wombacher Pizza!
Yes, there’s a pizza named after me in here and it’s always fun to order it. And it’s delicious as you’ll see if you keep on scrolling.
While the Wombacher Pizza is cooking, let’s take a look around in here.
One thing they do in here which I think is really cool is that they feature local artist’s works on the walls.
The first one is a colored pencil drawing of Walter Payton by Kelly Carter
Below that is a textured painting by Cari Lepper.
The art is for sale, so if you’d like to support local artists, come in and get some art along with a delicious homemade pizza pie!
There’s also local sports memorabilia on the walls along with a ‘96 Nick-N-Willy’s Illinois license plate.
The Nick-N-Willy’s Credo!
“Pizza Fixes Everything!” This graphic was produced and created by Smiley Graphix!
Check out Samantha multi-tasking! She’s taking an order on the phone and ringing up my pizza all at the same time!
And there she is presenting us with this week’s take-out pizza! Woo and hoo!
There’s the pizza in the MBIP Mobile and through the magic of these here interwebs, there it is safely back at the Kitchen and Tasting Area at MBIP World Headquarters!
Time to reveal this Wombacher Pizza!
It looks absolutely amazing! I love all of the colors and the crust looks crispy and tasty. Let’s dig in!
This is such a flavorful and delicious pizza!
The onions and peppers give it a nice spicy flavor and the sausage is savory and tasty. There’s three kinds of cheese, Mozzarella, Provolone and Cheddar and they blend well with the homemade sauce and crispy crust.
I’m honored they bestowed my name on such a delicious and unique pizza!
I think I’ll drink my dessert!
Thanks to Samantha for making such a great pizza and thanks to Steve, the owner of Nick-N-Willy’s for the honor of having a wonderful pizza pie named after me!
