I think that The Twilight Zone is one of the greatest and most original TV series of all time. The show was created by Rod Serling and he wrote a good chunk of the episodes.
The show ran from 1959 to 1964 and below are six links to articles about this groundbreaking and timeless television series and one video link.
And then there’s the MBIP Coming Attractions for what’s happening on the blog next week!

The 10 greatest "Twilight Zone" episodes - I agree with all of their choices and my personal favorites are 3, 5, 7 and 9.
The Mike Wallace Interview Featuring Rod Serling (1959) - Rod Serling started out writing TV dramas for the Kraft Television Theater and Playhouse 90. One show he wrote, which was called, “Patterns” was a huge hit, but he soon became known as an “angry young man” because of his battles with the censors and sponsors. This interview with Mike Wallace is interesting because he keeps stressing that the Twilight Zone is just science fiction and nothing else. What he actually did was take topics that were taboo back then, like prejudice and social injustice and turned them into Twilight Zone episodes. It was a genius idea and the show ran for five years with no battles with censors or sponsors.
Why The Twilight Zone puts today's TV sci-fi to shame - An article about how nothing since The Twilight Zone has been its equal.
25 'Twilight Zone' Quotes that Will Make You Question Your Life Decisions - Great statements, most of them written by Rod Serling. Number eight is my favorite.
Twilight Zone -- The Movie -- Review by Roger Ebert - I remember when I heard that they were making this movie that it was a huge mistake and after I saw it I knew I was right. I’m glad Roger Ebert thought the same thing! And I’m not even going to think about the Twilight Zone reboot that’s supposed to happen soon. Ugh.
The Enduring Legacy of The Twilight Zone - This is a long and definitive essay on this legendary TV show.
