I haven’t been to Radish Kitchen since they opened up last March, so I thought we’d head over there and have lunch with a special guest star and probably some other people as well.

Here we are at Radish Kitchen in Campustown.
Let’s head on in and let this luncheon begin!
There’s the dining area, right now we’ve got the place to ourselves because it 1:30 in the afternoon and the luncheon crowd has left.
You order up at the bar in the back and there’s the owner of Radish Kitchen, Jam! Great to see her again and she took my luncheon order and said to feel free to wander around and take some photos.
So that’s exactly what I did and you can see those aforementioned photos below!
There’s Radish merch on the shelves on the back wall. These would make wonderful gifts for the radish lover in your family or circle of friends!
Here’s the Radish “Rooted In Community” statement on the wall. Nice!
Jam has partnered up with Riley’s Vegan Sweets and Eats and there’s some of their sweet treats in this case. I might try a cupcake for dessert!
Here’s a shot from the back of the dining room. The colorful mural on the wall was painted by local artist, Dan Ossandon.
Here’s a photo of our luncheon guest star of the week, Chelsie Tamms! Chelsie started her business, Lettering Works here in Peoria after graduating from Bradley University and she’s now living and working out of Chicago.
Chleise’s work is now featured and sold in The Field Museum and O’Hare Airport among many other outlets and clients and she’s really building her design and branding business to impressive heights!

Everybody Gets Their Picture Taken With Chelsie!

Barb joined in on the photo fun and she and Steph got their picture taken with Chelsie! Barb’s a talented artist and currently has a solo show entitled, “Disembodied” at The Buchanan Center For The Arts in Monmouth, Illinois.
There’s Chelsie with her fiancee, Daniel! Daniel proposed to Chelsie in Granada, Spain and you can read all about that exciting day right here.
Chelsie and Daniel are joined by designer Kayla and you can see her work right here.
And finally both Steph and I got our picture taken with Chelsie!

And after all of that photo excitement, Dan delivered my lunch. Dan is Jam’s husband and the two of them also own Black Dog Metal Arts.
I got the Mac & Grilled Chz and it was a rich, creamy and delicious treat!
And yes, I did get a cupcake for dessert! A sweet ending to a fun and fantastic lunch!
