Live, from Peoria, Illinois, it’s Saturday Night starring this week’s host, The Untamed Chef with special guest stars, Dede and Tom and featuring Becca, Hailey, Bryce, Liz and Jen.

Now please welcome, from Windsor Square in Peoria, this week’s host, The Untamed Chef!

Here we are at The Untamed Chef located in Windsor Square off of University Street near Pioneer Park.

Wow, looks like the word has spread that Untamed Chef is now open for dinner! The place is packed!

There’s the Untamed Chef, Becca, who’s the Executive Chef here and owns the place with her husband Bryce.

Always great to see her and she took a photo of myself with tonight’s special guest stars, my brother Tom and my cousin Dede!

Dede moved back to Peoria after living in Chicago for years and it was great to see her and catch up on things.

This dinner actually happened two weeks ago after my apartment building caught on fire and I was living with Tom at the time, so thanks to him for putting me up for a couple of weeks!

After checking out the dinner menu, our friendly waitress Hailey took our dinner orders.

Check out the bar in here, it’s a classic fully-stocked bar with a quartet of craft beers on tap!

One of the many fun things in Untamed Chef is that the kitchen is out on display in the front dining room. It’s like having dinner at the Food Network!

There’s Becca’s husband and co-owner, Bryce working the grill!

Another cool thing in here is that they feature local artwork on the walls and the art is for sale. So you can have dinner, dessert and a buy a piece of local art all in one festive evening at The Untamed Chef!

The gentlemen to the left of this photo recognized me and told me he reads the MBIP blog regularly.

I took a photo of him and his party and wrote their names on my phone tablet. This was two weeks ago and somehow I deleted the note with their names on it, so I apologize for that, but ) appreciated meeting all of them!

Bryce and Liz are delivering our Saturday night dinners!

Dede got a Ribeye which came with a side salad and scalloped potatoes, Tom got the Chicken Marsala and I got the Buffalo Chicken Alfredo.

The food is made from scratch and locally sourced and it was so delicious! Tom and Dede raved about their entrees and mine was rich, tasty and so delicious!
