Now, please welcome, from across the Illinois River in East Peoria, this week’s host, Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse!
Here we are at one of the area’s finest steakhouses, Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse in East Peoria!
Oh no, the revolving door is out of order, we need to find the side door…
Luckily, we saw this sign, which pointed us to the aforementioned and all-important side door of Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse.
Let’s go in and begin our Saturday Night out on the town in East Peoria!
Once inside we met Angel at the front desk and directed us to this booth over here.
Perfect and now it’s time to introduce tonight’s special guest stars…
Amber and Joe are frequent guest stars on the MBIP blog and it’s always wonderful to see them and hang out with them for the evening!
They’re looking fabulous, as always!
Our cute and friendly waitress for the evening was Alyssa and I told her that she reminded me of Jane Wieldlin of The Go-Go’s.
And Jane Wiedlin is my favorite Go-Go, so there!
We started off our Saturday night dinner with an appetizer order of stuffed mushrooms.
The mushrooms are stuffed with Italian Sausage and covered in Mozzarella Cheese and baked to a golden brown delight.
These were so tasty and a wonderful start to our dinner.
Next we had a garden fresh salad before our main courses arrived.
In between the salad and main courses, I went and took a few shots of the bar that’s elevated behind the main dining room.
Patrick was the friendly bartender on duty and here he is mixing up a drink for a thirsty diner at Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse.
Meanwhile, back at our booth…
Our Saturday Night Dinner is served!
Amber got the Filet Medallion Trio which are a trio of filet steaks topped off with Horseradish, Gorgonzola and Parmesan crusts and she said it was a delicious triple treat of steak filets.
Joe got the Char-Broiled Ribeye and he said that it was a fantastic cut of steak.
Here they are enjoying their Saturday night steak dinners!
I got the Beef Wellington with Alfredo pasta and it was such a flavorful dish!
It’s a tender filet wrapped in Prosciutto and served in a pastry puff and it was so tender, juicy and delicious!
Thanks to everyone at Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse for such a wonderful dinner and thanks to Amber and Joe for joining me for a fun Saturday night out on the town!
