Live, from Peoria, Illinois, it’s Saturday Night staring this week’s host, The MBIP World Headquarters Dining Room and featuring a meal delivered from Roadies Sliders.

Now, please put your hands together and welcome this week’s Saturday Night host, The MBIP World Headquarters!

This is a first here on MBIP, since I’m still laid up here at MBIP World Headquarters after my hip replacement surgery, I’ve decided to have a Saturday night dinner delivered, which I’ve never done before here on the blog.

Here’s a screen shot of my order. I got a BBQ Bacon Slider and I think they come in a pair when you order them. I also got an order of Buffalo Wings and the Smokey Pepper Mac & Cheese.

There’s a delivery fee which I understand, but I don’t get the service fee. But it’s under three bucks, so no big whoop. With a tip the grand total is $43.56. They said it would be a 30 to 45 minute wait for the food to arrive.

So while we wait…

It’s hard to believe, but we’ve done 34 videos and we’ll be putting a brand new one today in a couple of hours. 22 Minutes Later…

Dinner has arrived and they get excellent points on a speedy delivery! They estimated 30 to 45 minutes and it arrived in 22 minutes from East Peoria. Very nice!

The delivery person was camera-shy and didn’t want to pose for the MBIP Camera, which is fine, that’s why I ask!

There’s the dinner, let’s start opening boxes and dig in to our Saturday night dinner!

We’ll start the meal with a can of Budweiser Select. My friend Joe Coletta brought me a case of this after my surgery, so thanks, Joe! (He probably won’t see this because I don’t think he reads the blog, but what are you going to do?)

They included a nice pile of mustard packets which is great, I like a lot of mustard on my sliders!

I want to start with the chicken wings and I’m guessing they’re in this big container.

Whoops-a-doozy, I guessed wrong, that’s the sliders and the mac and cheese.

The wings must be in the other container.

Yep, here they are. I got the Buffalo Wings and they’re nice and spicy, but pretty tiny wings and not a lot of meat on them.

Oh well, let’s just move along here!

The mac and cheese was a major disappointment.

It was just really bland and no flavor at all and it’s a pretty skimpy cup of it.

Maybe the sliders will save the evening here, that is their specialty after all!

Okay, the bun looks super-fresh and there’s a lot of bacon on the sliders, so that’s a plus.

However, I ordered them with cheddar cheese and there’s just a little blob of cheese on the right slider and there’s no cheese at all on the left burger. That kind of sucks, but let’s dig in! What the fuck are you going to do?

I loaded them up with mustard and the bun is bakery fresh.

The burger itself has very little flavor and you mainly taste the bacon and bbq sauce. It was okay, but a little on the bland side. The bacon was really good and as I said, it was just okay, I like a little more flavor with my sliders.

So all in all, the delivery service was excellent but the food that they brought was just okay.
