Okay, after a week off we’re back to our daily postings here on MBIP! To quote Jackie G: “And awaaay we go!”

The album, Rubber Soul by The Beatles was a such a groundbreaking album. It was the first album that was written entirely by the band and it was the start of The Beatles and other bands seeing that an album could be a true work of art from the cover to the songs included on it. Before Rubber Soul, albums were mainly a collection of a few hits and then filled up with cover songs and quick filler tunes.
They started recording it 58 years ago in October of 1965 and it was released in December of that same year.
Below are six links to online articles about this historical record and a link to a video clip about the album. And then there’s the MBIP Coming Attractions as to what’s happening on the blog next week. So there!
