Live, from Peoria, Illinois, it’s Saturday Night with this week’s host, Emo’s, and special guest stars, Sophia and Mia.
Now, please welcome the creepiest clown on top of a building in Peoria and that building is, Emo’s!
Here we are at Emo’s and there’s the creepiest clown in Peoria, high up in the air!
Hello Mr. Creepy Clown!
As you can see, a lot of other people had the same idea I did! Check out that line!
But it moves fast and we’re just about to the ordering window and I know exactly what I want.
Sophia and Mia were working the window and they happily posed for a photo. How cute are they? And they were really nice and friendly too.
I didn’t get the name of the Photobomber in the back, but she looks a little like a young Fiona Apple!
There’s hot dog art on the windows and this is a cash-only business, so there’s a handy ATM for those of you that don’t carry cash. And there’s that creepy clown!
Hello, Mr. Creepy Clown!
Okay, I’ve got tonight’s Saturday night dinner in my hands. There’s picnic benches on the side of the building and cement tables in front facing Prospect Road.
Decisions, decisions!
I chose this cement table and check out the sunset view from where I sit!
I think I made the right decision!
I got a butterscotch milkshake and it was thick, sweet and delicious! I’ve never had a butterscotch milkshake, but this definitely isn’t the last one I’ll ever have!
Okay, onto the Saturday night dinner, we’ll open this container first.
I got an order of the chili-cheese fries.
Last summer I went to four places for a vanilla shake and chili-cheese fries. Emo’s was the first stop and I had problem with the cheese to chili ratio. They were almost all cheese and hardly any chili.
Well, as you can see, they’ve corrected that problem and this batch is a perfect ratio of equal parts chili to cheese, they look fantastic!
Wow, the chili is savory and the melted cheese is rich and creamy. The fries are thin cut and make for a nice holding vessel for the chili and cheese!
When you eat most chili-cheese fries, once you get through the top layer you’re pretty much done with the chili and the cheese and you’re left with a pile of plain fries.
Check this out, this is halfway through and there’s still plenty of chili and cheese.
These are top-notch chili-cheese fries!
Here’s the chili-cheese dog and it kind of looks like it might be all cheese, kind of like last years fries!
Let’s take a bite and see…
Hooray, there’s an ample amount of chili under the cheese! No ratio problem here, whew!
This is such a tasty chili-cheese dog! Same chili and cheese as the fries and the hot dog is fresh, juicy, tasty and plump.
I always say the bun can make or break a hot dog and this one is steamed and bakery fresh.
What a delicious Saturday night meal, enjoyed at sunset outside!
Wonderful to see Emo’s open for another season!
We’ll see you again this summer, Mr. Creepy Clown!
