A hot dog is definitely summer fare but a Wonderdog is in the upper echelon of summer goodies.
So, what the hell? Let’s get over to Wonderdog for a Wonderdog and a sweet treat on this wonderful sunny summer afternoon.
Here we are at Wonderdog at their Peoria location.
They re-opened their East Peoria location recently, it had been shut down due to a fire. I thought about going to that location, but this one’s closer, so here we are!
Let’s go on in.

Who in the hell comes here and doesn’t order a Wonderdog? That’s crazy talk right there!
Okay, the counter is clear and Je’Dyne and Sidney not only took my order, they posed for the MBIP Camera! Everyone in here is nice and friendly, great to meet both of them!
There’s ice cream in the freezer…is that going to be my sweet treat? Keep on scrolling and you’ll find out!
I love all the hot dog decor in here. My favorite is that neon hot dog, very cool! Neon Hot Dog would be a good name for a band!
There’s tables to sit at in here, but I decided to sit at this counter in the corner.
The napkin holder with the Wonderdog logo on it is a nice touch. Yes, I’m easily amused!

The Wonderdog is fabulous!
The bun is bakery fresh, the meat sauce is tasty and I got it with cheese, mustard and onions and all those flavors make one tasty summer treat!
Now that we’ve enjoyed that savory treat, let’s move over to the sweet side of the tray!
The much anticipated sweet treat of the week is their Funnel Fries!
I’ve always been curious about these, but never ordered them until today!
