Selfie Space is probably the most unique business in downtown Peoria. It’s a multi-room space with over 3,00 square feet of space designed for professional and amateur photography, they have a state-of-the-art, comfortable conference room and the bottom line here is one thing: Fun!

And speaking of fun, last week they had their one year anniversary of being in business and had an open house for people to tour and take a look at this original business in downtown Peoria.

Of course I went and of course I brought the MBIP Camera and so now you can come along to last week’s party! I love to time-travel and here we go back in time!

Here we are and there’s a familiar face on the phone over there.

For those of you under 30-years-old, that thing on the wall is what we used to call a phone! It didn’t fit in your pocket and we weren’t obsessed with it and could leave the house without it, those were the good old days!

Anyway, that pretty person on the phone is none other than…

Renee Waller, the owner and operator of Selfie Space!

Renee opened up Selife Space one year ago in an attempt to brighten up downtown Peoria with a business that specializes in and promotes fun and good times and we can certainly use plenty of both of those things these days!

I brought her a couple of Peoria-centric gifts to give to Renee for this first year anniversary celebration!

Renee had a couple of friends hanging out up in the front of the Selfie Space structure and they posed in front of one of the many Selfie Space backdrops.

Great to meet them, now let’s wander around and take some photos in here, that’s what this space is for after all!

They have professional lighting in here and there’s several options for Selfie Space.

You can come here with yourself or with friends and just run around and be silly and take fun selfies for social media and your own photo collection or you can have a party in here.

This place is perfect for bachelorette parties, baby showers, anniversary parties and so many other occasions.

Selfie Space is a wonderful place for a first date destination. Taking selfies in this fun and unique environment helps with that first date awkwardness and it encourages people to be themselves in fun and different settings.

It’s also a perfect place for a fun and unique birthday party for the young and old!

I love all the different rooms and the bright, bold and innovative art in here!

There’s so much to see in here and if you have a business and want to have an off-site meeting, there’s a state-of-the-art conference room here to do business in and then have a Selfie Space event afterwards to let everyone take a fun break.

There was a nice crowd of people in here celebrating the one year anniversary of Selfie Space in downtown Peoria!
