The Brady Bunch TV sitcom ran from September 26, 1969, to March 8, 1974 and has been kept alive in syndicated reruns and on the internet up to this day.
The TV network projected the Brady family as a squeaky-clean unit, but behind the scenes things got a little messier and darker. In honor of last Monday’s Solar Eclipse, I thought that we’d tune in to the dark side of The Brady Bunch and below are five links to articles spotlighting this shadowy subject and two video links. MBIP Coming Attractions
Monday: I got my Saturday Night Cheeseburger from a place I’ve never been to, Five Guys in the Westlake Shopping Center. Then I went and enjoyed a live comedy show at Jukebox Comedy Club starring the biggest name in comedy: Costaki Economopoulos.
Tuesday: We’re continuing the MBIP Mac and Cheese food tour and this week we’re sampling wood-fired Mac and Cheese from Sugar Wood-Fired Bistro.
Wednesday: We’re going to continue our monthly Clucky Dozen fried chicken dinner tour and this month we went to the Owl’s Nest to try their famous Thursday night twelve dollar chicken dinner special.
Thursday: We’ll be looking backwards at an MBIP post from the past and I’ll include an update on my forthcoming book, “Confessions of a Spiteful Writer.”
Friday: We’ll be spotlighting another bar for the weekly MBIPTGIF Happy Hour series.
Saturday: We’ll be going back to the past with another, Meanwhile, Back In Peoria’s Past post.
