Now please welcome, this week’s host, Oliver’s Pizza & Pub North!

Here we are at Oliver’s Pizza & Pub North on a sunny Friday evening. I’m happy summer’s here, but I don’t like the fact that the sun is still shining this bright at this time of the evening but what are you going to do?

Let’s go inside and start this festive Friday evening!

Normally I’d settle in at a table in the diing room or at the bar, but tonight is a little different, so we’re going back into that rotten sunshine outside on the back patio because…

It’s Frank’s birthday and the party is happening out here in their gorgeous and spacious patio area.

I think I see a couple familiar faces at that table over there…

It’s my friends Amber and Joe and we’re going to be enjoying the party and our Friday night dinner here at Oliver’s Pizza & Pub North.

Amber is Peoria’s newest blogger and you can check out her hilarious and interesting daily blog below!

Amber’s blog is called For Sale Peoria and it’s got listings of unbelievable local ads of crazy and somewhat strange things for sale in and around Peoria.

Julie stopped by our table to say hi along with her cute doggie, Lincoln! Julie is the Director of Operations for all three Oliver’s restaurants and she’s hosting this birthday party for her father Frank, who’s the star bartender here at Oliver’s!

And speaking of Frank…

Here’s the Birthday Boy himself! Always great to see Frank, who’s one of the friendliest fellows you’re ever going to meet!

Amber, Joe and I got him some fun presents at Relics Gift Shop to celebrate this special birthday evening!

Olivia delivered us a couple of beers and took our dinner order and she’s looking fabulous while multi-tasking!

We started off with an order of the Beer-Battered Onion Rings and they were so delicious.

Perfectly cooked and seasoned and it was a fabulous start to our Friday night dinner!

It was a nice evening for an outdoor birthday party on the patio!

Eric Lytle was the superb DJ for the evening and he did a great job.

I got back to our table just as the main courses arrived, perfect timing and everything looks absolutely fabulous!

Amber and Joe split the Tuna Steak Sandwich and they said it was so delicious and a very satisfying treat!

Now on to this week’s cheeseburger, but first I sampled some of the fries and they’re home-cut, perfectly fried and so tasty!

Okay, now on to this week’s cheeseburger!

Wow, this was such a fantastic cheeseburger! This was the BBQ Bacon Burger and as you can see, it’s quite an impressive looking burger.

It was actually even more tasty and delicious than it looks and you can read more about it in the review below.

The evening and party went on with raffles and karaoke and it was so much fun!

Oliver’s North is known for their delicious homemade pizza, but they should also be famous for their cheeseburgers. They have a half dozen varieties and they are unbelievably tasty and fantastic!

This BBQ Bacon Burger was utterly fantastic! The burger was seasoned and cooked to perfection and it’s topped with tangy and tasty BPR barbecue sauce, fried haystack onions, savory pecan wood-smoked bacon, and rich and velvety cheddar cheese.

The bun was toasted to perfection and this was one first-class cheeseburger!

The Oliver’s Pizza & Pub North BBQ Bacon Burger gets a well-deserved high rating of three and three quarters Wimpy’s! If you’re a cheeseburger fan, you need to try this cheeseburger out!
