Today is the 68th anniversary of the day that John Lennon and Paul McCartney met each other. I’ve always wondered what this world would be like if those two never met and The Beatles never happened. They really changed our society, music and the ‘60’s for sure.
In honor of this anniversary, I’ve got six links below about that fateful meeting and the photo below is of John Lennon and his band, The Quarrymen from the day of that meeting took place.

MBIP Coming Attractions
Monday: We’re having a rare, Friday night out on the town this Monday because I went to the 4th of July fireworks on the Peoria Riverfront last Friday and hung out and took a bunch of photos. So tune in tomorrow to see my report from the 2025 edition of “Red, White & Boom” from downtown Peoria’s riverfront.
Tuesday: We’re continuing our summer hot dog eating tour and this week I stopped by the grill at Alwan & Sons Meat Company and got a hot dog there and one to go from inside. Yep, it’s a rare two fer Tuesday hot dog day this week that you don’t want to miss! Hot diggity dog!
Wednesday: I’ve never been to Luthy Botanical Gardens so I went there last week and I have photos I’ll be posting from my visit there on Wednesday. So there!
Thursday: We’ll have yet another Throwback Thursday from a blog post from the past next week, so stay tuned for that.
Friday: For this week’s Friday Bites post we’ll be snacking on some different flavors of Pringle’s Potato Chips.
