Last Thursday was the 4th of July and Daryl Klusendorf, the owner and operator of one of Peoria’s most iconic restaurants and musical venues, Sky Harbor, was the Grand Marshall in the 49th annual West Peoria 4th of July Parade. That’s him pictured below.
Daryl’s parents Bill and Ellen purchased Sky Harbor back in 1971 and they’ve been standing tall in the current location off of Farmington Road in West Peoria since 1996.
They’re one of the few restaurants in town with a piano bar and once a month there’s a musical extravaganza in here when they have the monthly “Pickin’ On” show on the last Thursday of the month.
They also have delicious food here. It’s a steakhouse, but there’s also other mouth-watering entrees on the menu to choose from. If you’re undecided about a dining destination for this evening, look no further than Sky Harbor Steakhouse.
