Today’s Casual Friday memento here in the MBIP World Headquarters is a photograph that’s part of the collage here in the MBIP Kitchen.
It’s over there in the lower right on the second cabinet.
That’s it right there. Let’s zoom in a little closer and explain what this is.
This is a photo of me in Las Vegas back in 1986.
I was there on vacation with my friend Jim Borho and this is on the old school strip of Las Vegas. The photo was taken in honor of my Spiritual Guru Tim Hennessey.
We saw that sign and even though the spelling isn’t quite right, it cracked us up and Jim took this photo of me passed out beneath it.
Here’s an extreme close-up of the photo.
I love the sign: “Hennessy’s ‘Tavern On The Strip.’ Cocktails & Conversation. Open 24 hrs. $10,000 Video Poker.” Truly old school Las Vegas!
I think this is the last photo in existence of me wearing shorts, a sleeveless t-shirt and athletic socks. And take a look at that ‘80’s mullet!
Have a fantastic Friday and a happy 5th of July to you all!
