I lived in New York for 19 years and one thing I miss most about living in that city is the lack of places to go and get a single slice of pizza.
In Manhattan you never have to walk more than two city blocks to get a slice of pizza. Here in Peoria, it’s not quite as easy to get a single slice of pizza here in Peora, but it can be done.
Back in August of 2016, myself and Adam Duvall set out to sample the three places in Peoria that offered slices of pizza back then and we also decided to judge them and pick out the best slice in Peoria.
So let’s go back and check out this slice in time…oh, Sherman…

Here are the Peoria Pizza Slice Judges, Adam Duvall and Yours Fooly!
First stop is at Hoops Pizza Pub & Pizza on Main Street. This place is a veteran pizza establishment here in Peoria.
There’s lots of choices on the menu and we decided on getting a cheese slice and placed our order with Kelly who was working behind the bar and looking very pretty!
Here’s the Hoop’s slices of pizza. They were delicious and you can read the review by clicking on the link at the bottom of this post.

Second stop is at the Casey’s Gas Station on Farmington Road. Not your first place when you think of pizza but…
They sell pizza slices in here that look really tasty!
Here’s the two slices we got and we found out that the pizza is made daily right here at Casey’s.
I have to admit to being surprised at the quality of pizza in here. I would come back even if my gas tank was all the way filled up!
Here we are at the third and final stop of the tour, Bacci’s Pizza, near Bradley University.
As you can see, the slices in here are huge!
They cut one in half for Adam and I to sample.
Their neon sign summed up this saucy tour that we took!
