We’re at the halfway mark here on this festive holiday shopping countdown and shop number four is one of my favorite places to wander around in Peoria: Urban Artifacts.
This place is loaded with fun, eclectic and one-of-a-kind items. Let’s go and take a tour of the MBIP Fourth Shop of Xmas: Urban Artifacts!
Here we are at Urban Artifacts and I love their new, freshly-painted storefront! Very impressive!
They have extended holiday hours, they’re open right now, so let’s go inside and let this fourth week of holiday shopping and touring begin!
There’s so much unique and interesting inventory in here, it’s kind of mind-blowing when you first walk in the door!
There’s Jon Walker, the owner and operator of Urban Artifacts along with his wife, Angie. He said business has been great and they’re fully stocked for the holiday season.
He told me to feel free to roam around and take photos. There’s so much stuff in here it’s a little intimidating, so I thought we’d categorize the items to make it a little more simple.

But Wait…Suddenly…It’s Matt!
As I was getting ready to leave, I ran into my old friend Matt! I haven’t seen this guy in years and it has been rumored that he was living in Oslo, Norway and managing a Sauerkraut Theme Park on the outskirts of the Bergen City Center.
Great to see him again and rumor has it that he may be a special guest star in an upcoming episode on our Corn Dog Tour!
Stay tuned and check out Urban Artifacts for a fun and unique shopping expedition!
