Today we’re going to get a cookie at a place I’ve never blogged from and that place is Great Harvest Bread Co.
My brother Tom told me I should check it out and he told me it’s a franchise and locally owned. He told me that they had great sandwiches and lots of baked goods including cookies.
I haven’t had lunch yet, so we’ll try out one of their sandwiches and get a cookie for dessert!
Here we are at Great Harvest Bread Co. I love the “Yep” in the window and the fact that they’re closed on Sunday “for a little loafin’.” Ha ha ha!
Okay, we are inside and there’s the front counter and the menus here at the bakery.
There’s the bakery window and they have cookies on display but I was hoping to get some Christmas cookies. The chocolate chip and Oatmeal Raisin look delicious, but I was hoping for something a little more festive for this time of year.
Check it out…Houston, we have Christmas cookies! These look perfect! Okay time to order lunch in here!
I got a photo of two of the friendly and cute youg women working the front counter and then two more joined them for a second photo!
The more the merrier! This is a fun and friendly place and great to meet all of them!
Their names are Olivia, Kaelee, Elizabeth and Josey and it was a pleasure to meet all of them!
After I took those photos, I met the franchise owner, Craig Janssen.
He was a little camera shy but here’s his facecrack page. He took me in the back to show me where they mill their flour in here. Things are all definitely homemade in here and everything is baked fresh daily!
Here’s a shot of some of this homemade bread and it looks absolutely fabulous!
There’s a comfortable dining area in here, but we’ll take today’s lunch and cookies back to the MBIP World Headquarters and Dining Area.
And here we are with the Ham and Cheese Sandwich for our luncheon treat.
I got the sandwich on their homemade sourdough bread and it looks absolutely delicious! Let’s take a bite and dig in to this fabulous looking sandwich!
Wow, this is such a tasty sandwich! The ham is savory and succulent and there’s melted cheese, sliced tomatoes and onion, a mustard sauce and the bread is out of this world tasty and fresh!
If you’ve never tried a sandwich from here, I highly recommend this place!
Now on to the star of the show, this month’s cookie selection!
For this month’s cookie selection I got a two-pack of their freshly-baked butter Christmas cookies and they look absolutely delicious!
I chose the snowman and stocking holiday butter cookie and eating the head off of a snowman never tasted better!
What a holiday treat and this was such a delicious lunch and dessert from the Great Harvest Bread Co. I’ll definitely stop back here to sample some more tasty treats!
Ho, ho and ho!
