Okay, as promised yesterday, we’re back with part two of last week’s Rolling Stones Tribute Show at 3300 Event Center.
This is Saturday’s show, which had many of the same talented musicians but a few new ones were added to the mix! All the musicians are listed below and now, on with the show!

Here we are back for the second night of The Rolling Stones tribute show at 3300 Event Center, let’s get inside, it’s freezing out here!
It’s still nice and sparkly in here and the stage looks fantastic! I’m anxious to see part two of this Rolling Stonely tribute show!
Here’s some of the smiling faces I encountered while wandering around before the show started, from the top: There’s the drummer and percussionist from both evenings, Thomas James Satterfield with his parents, Brandon was the sound engineer for both shows and he did a great job, Courtney was my pretty and friendly waitress for the evening and it was great to see Janie and Stephan at the show. Janie is an artist and designer and she designed the posters for the two shows, check her out by clicking here. Stephan is a woodworker who designs and creates furniture, signs and other wooden works of art and you can read more about his business by clicking here.
And now…It’s showtime!
The musicians have gathered on the stage and we’re off and rocking!
Tonight’s line-up of musicians include: Craig Moore, Dave Moe, Jon, Hill, Vinny Capello, Matthew James, Matthew Warren, Thomas Satterfield, Cindy Youngren, Curt Caudill, Tom Stoner, Jim Curless, Brian Stear, Josh Bradshaw and Don Mabus.
They sound fantastic and some of the Stones songs covered include: Rocks Off, Happy, Can’t You Hear Me Knockin’, Going To A Go-Go, Tumbling Dice and many other classic Rolling Stones songs.
Special Guest Stars for the second night in a row: 2004 Iowa Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame inductees - Gonn. All five original members came from all over the states to re-form for the show.
Gonn members include: Craig Moore, Gerry Gabel, Rex Garrett, Larry LaMaster and Dave Johnson.
They played classic Stones songs from when they originally formed in the mid ‘60’s. One of the songs they played, Pain In My Heart was the flip side of their original single, Blackout Of Gretley and it was used in the closing credits of the movie, Joint Body starring Alicia Witt and Mark Pellegrino. Very cool!
They had another unplugged and seated portion of the show and it was very entertaining. Craig even lent his bass to Cindy for a song!
This was a superbly entertaining and fantastic night of Rolling Stones music for a second night in a row!
Thanks to Craig, the 3300 Event Center and all of the super-talented musicians who performed in both of the shows, it was an incredible two night event!
At the end, everyone gathered for a goodnight bow.
Thanks again to everyone who joined together for such a memorable and fun two evening event!
