Since it’s Easter Sunday I wanted to link to a like-minded subject and I decided on the Jefferson Airplane song, “White Rabbit.”
The song was the third single released off of Jefferson Airplane’s second studio album, “Surrealistic Pillow” and it was one of the first top ten hit songs whose subject matter was about taking psychedelic drugs. The song uses characters and imagery from the book, “Alice in Wonderland” which has long been known for its somewhat hidden references to psychedelic drugs.
Below are six links to online articles about “White Rabbit”, there’s a video link to a short interview with singer Grace Slick who wrote the song and then there’s the MBIP Coming Attractions as to what’s happening on the blog next week. Happy Egg Day, everyone!
