Gil’s Supper Club in Hanna City has been in business since 1962 and they’ve been famous for their fried chicken since since they opened the doors all the way back then!
This is a stop we knew we had to make on this year long clucked up journey and that is why it’s tonight’s fried chicken dinner destination!
Let’s get the cluck over there and start our fourth month of fried chicken dinners!

The first thing you see when you walk in is this delicious bakery case. We haven’t had desserts on this tour yet and tonight we might change all of that! Keep on scrolling!
There’s the bar over there, but we have reservations and there’s Kati flashing a beutiful smile our way at the hostess station.
Luckily we made reservations, there’s the people waiting for a table on this busy evening in Gil’s!
There’s the front dining room and Kati led us to the second dining room down here through this door.
This is a nice room and there’s the table we settled in at.
There’s the MBIP Fried Chicken Crew!
Jeff, Tom, Floyd and we have a special guest star this month, Floyd’s son, Charlie! Charlie’s a drummer and he’s getting ready to start his first year of high school!
Jennica was our pretty and friendly waitress. There she is taking down our fried chicken dinner orders.
We started off with salads and three appetizers: onion rings, breaded cauliflower and cheese nuggets.
The salads were crispy and fresh and the appetizers were crispy and flavorful. A delightful start to our fried chicken feast!
There’s a banquet room in the back here and I crashed their party to take a couple of photos.

The chicken dinners have arrived and everything looks and smells fantastic. Let’s dig in!
Wow, this chicken is so crispy, juicy and tasty!
It’s cooked and seasoned to perfection and it was a juicy and delicious treat!
The corn fritters were delightful as well!
We all thoroughly enjoyed this month’s fried chicken feast at Gil’s and Charlie gave the dinner an enthusiastic thumbs up!
Once again, Jeff wins the prize for the best clean plate club! No one can leave a clean pile of chicken bones like Jeff!
We were all stuffed after dinner, but we had to try some of those homemade desserts and they did not disappoint! They were sweet, tasty and downright decadent!

THE FRIED CHICKEN DINING EXPERIENCE
Even though the place was packed, we got a table within minutes and everyone is super-friendly at Gil’s Supper Club.
All of the food was fantastic and the desserts were literally the icing on the cake!
It’s got a nice comfortable down-home atmosphere and it was a nice and comfortable dinner.
We’ll give them a great dining rating of three and a quarter Colonel’s.

THE FRIED CHICKEN
The fried chicken was fantastic! Their years of frying up chicken show up on the plate.
It was lightly battered and cooked to poultry perfection! Really crispy on the outside and so tender and juicy and it was seasoned to perfection!
We all agreed this fried chicken gets a high rating of three and a half Colonel’s. The highest rating of the tour so far!
