Live, from Peoria, Illinois, it’s Saturday Night Cheeseburger starring this week’s host, Craft 309 Kitchen + Bar with special guest stars, Amber, Joe, Kelsie and Kate!

Now please welcome this week’s host from beautiful downtown Peoria, Craft 309 Kitchen + Bar!

Here we are at Craft 309 Kitchen + Bar in the Four Points by Sheraton building in downtown Peoria. Let’s go in and start our Saturday night adventure!

There’s the host station and they serve locally brewed beers in here, nice!

Suddenly Kelsie appears with a beautiful smile and said to feel free to sit anywhere.

Normally, I’d sit at the bar, but we have a couple of special guest stars joining us tonight and they’re seated right over there in that banquette…

It’s my friends and frequent guest stars on the blog, Amber and Joe!

They’re both looking fantastic and it’s always wonderful to hang out with them on a Saturday evening!

Kate was our pretty and friendly server and she brought us some drinks and took our Saturday night dinner order. I love it when this happens!

While dinner is being prepared, I’ll take a few photos in here.

There’s the row of banquettes where we’re seated and there’s communal tables in the middle of the room and there’s the other side of the long bar in here that I took a picture of on my way in here.

As you can see, they have a huge selection of beers on tap and there’s a Happy Hour in here on Sunday through Thursday from 3pm to 7pm.

There’s another dining room on the other side of the room with tables and large booths line both walls.

You have to love a photo of a dog balancing a glass of wine on its head!

Meanwhile, back at our booth, our Saturday night dinner is starting to arrive.

We started off with an order of chicken wings and they were delicious!

For our main courses we each ordered the 309 Smash Burger and fries.

It looks absolutely amazing, let’s dig in.

The fries were crispy, perfectly seasoned and were a wonderful start to the Saturday night dinner.

The Smash Burger looks fantastic. It’s a double burger with American Cheese, lettuce, onion and their housemade burger sauce.

Wow, this is one delicious burger!

It’s juicy and the cheese and special sauce really mesh well with the perfectly cooked and seasoned double smash burgers. The bun is toasted nicely and it’s bakery fresh.
