Last week I completed my twenty week tenderloin tour at Pottsie’s in Ipava, Illinois. It went by so fast, time flies when you’re stuffing yourself with breaded pork tenderloins! I have a new food challenge that I’m starting next week and you can read all about that in next Tuesday’s post. If you’re a follower on facecrack, you probably already know what that’s all about. But till then, I wanted to wrap up the tenderloin tour by posting a picture of every breaded pork tenderloin consumed on the tour and then naming what was my personal favorite of the twenty week tour. And please note, they were all great and this is just my personal opinion. Okay, let’s roll out the tenderloins! (Click on them to go to the post.)
Number Twenty: Pottsie’s Roadhouse—Ipava, Illinois—January 14th, 2014.
And now...my personal favorite tenderloin of the tour...drumroll please...
And my favorite is...a tie! As I said, they were all great, but my two personal favorites were the tenderloins at Boar’s Nest and Kenny’s Westside Pub!
Thanks to all the restaurants, bars and to all the people who joined me along the way, it was a real blast. And special thanks to Kathy in Cleveland for supplying the mustard that came in so handy the day after. Okay, I’m going to go eat a roll of Tums and get ready for my next food challenge. See you all tomorrow!
