This week, we’re looking backwards at one of Peoria’s hometown musical heroes, Dan Fogelberg!
We’ll start out with photos of Dan in his first band in Peoria and then have other local photos, videos and links to online articles and websites.

ONLINE DAN FOGELBERG PHOTOS AND A VIDEO
The Coachmen were a popular Peoria band in the mid ‘60’s. When Dan Fogelberg joined the band they were re-christened as The New Coachmen.
They opened up for The Hollies, The Who, The Dave Clark 5 and many other well known bands from that era.
In the top photo, The New Coachmen were, from the left: Robyn Sleeth, Jon Asher, Dan Fogelberg, Terry Walters and Tom Cain.
Here’s a PJ Star article from a show that Dan Fogelberg performed at the Peoria Civic Center.
