Last Thursday was the 4th of July, so I went with friends to the annual Backyard BBQ party at The Peoria Riverfront Museum.

It was a blast, the food was fantastic and there was a marvelous fireworks show.

Let’s climb the stairs and begin this year’s 4th of July celebration!

I walked over to the window in the lobby and it looks like the backyard bbq is already in full swing! Let’s head on down!

The food is served buffet style and it looks delicious!

Vincent and Diedre were visiting from Arizona and they were impressed by the Museum’s bbq and fun 4th of July event!

The food was catered by Cracked Pepper and it was delicious!

As you can see, there was a lot of people and everyone was enjoying this festive Peoria riverfront holiday event!

Greg and JoAnn Young were manning a booth and selling their delicious homemade popcorn from Popcorn Heaven. Always great to see and chat with them!

The sun has gone down and it’s just about fireworks time!

On my way to my seat, I ran into Diana from Voila! Macarons by Diana. She was with her friend, Nathan, who told me he enjoys the MBIP blog and I always love to hear that!
